Acrobat PDF file is one of the most popular files in the computer world. Few of the main reasons is

• As compared to other file format, the size of a PDF file is much smaller with the same content
• Acrobat PDF reader can be downloaded free from Adobe
• PDF file is not editable by your recipient. Even though with the full Acrobat Software, the PDF file can be edited, access control can be use to prevent the file from being edit

Now only question now is without the full Acrobat Software, how do we create PDF files from say  Microsoft Word? For Apple computer owners like myself, there is a built in PDF printer default in the Operating System.  YES!

Windows users, feeling sad that you don’t have a free PDF writer? Don’t be. There is a free PDF printer call Cutepdf. With this tool, you are able to print/convert any files from Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint or images to PDF. How this works is when you install Cutepdf, a virtual printer called Cutepdf will be created. So from any applications in your Windows Operating system that can print, you can use the virtual Cutepdf printer to ‘print’ into a PDF file.
