Good value Baiyoke sky boutique hotel in Bangkok

Dear friends,

As promise, a short video of Baiyoke Sky Boutique hotel in Bangkok for you to consider for the trip to Bangkok in January. I feel this is one of the good value for money hotel in Bangkok. Cost about SGD$50++ a night. The location is near the shopping district. Free shuttle service provided to Siam Paragon. The rooms are clean and nice. Hot water available. Free breakfast. Only sad thing is internet access is not free.

Have a look at the room….and you know why..

Your video rocks. The hotel looks cool. Is there any different btw deluxe room and exec deluxe room, of course the rates will be different. How did you book your rooms, direct with the hotel?

    Hi Ally,

Thanks for your feedback!!!!!!!!! Good to see that you like it :)
In my opinion, the main different between the two rooms are the CRT TV(as show in the video & LCD TV(in exec room) plus the rates different of about 400-500bahts

The rooms look nice but I feel that they neglect some minor touch up in the room, maybe say paint job at the corner not done up nicely.

However, hot water, services, security is ok so that is what I basically need from a hotel.

I done so direct to the hotel, which is what i normally do as I am a DIY traveller.
Here is the contact: baiyokeboutique “at” baiyoke.co.th (I took quite a few hours before I found it that time:p)

The lobby looks even cooler, let me search and load the video on another site of mine. http://www.richbudgetman.com/
I be moving the travel section to my above new blog so as to focus this site on web services.

    Thanks for dropping by!

Hi there, thanks for ur video.. its looks real nice..

From the internet reviews, i think there is a shuttle bus to Siam Paragon.. So how is the intervel like? and is the place far away from the town site like all the “Siam’s area”? and Chatuchak market? is the railway track by the side really nosiy???

So sorry, first time and i’m already bothering u wif so much question..

    Thanks!!

    Hi Jade,

My hotel post seems to be more popular than my other tech posts. hehe but I should be happy that at least 1 is popular :)

Yes there is a shuttle bus but I can’t remember the exact frequency. I think is about every 1 hour. When I stayed there, I didn;t use the shuttle at all because I like to walk around and explore. I took about 20mins quick walk to chitlom bts. from there you can walk to Siam using the long overhead bridge

Train passing by are not too noisy. I can get a good sleep. Don’t seem to hear any train sound while I was sleeping at night :)

Look at the map around Baiyoke which I post here http://mobile.islikethat.com/blogs/should-you-stay-at-baiyoke-boutique-hotel-in-bangkok

And it is far from Chatuchak but take the BTS train. it is quite fast. Don’t take cab as you will be stuck in a jam :p
