Mobile is like that

Wednesday night used to be special during my polytechnic days. Mambo Jumbo nights. Boozing with my favorite Long Island Tea…. dancing…. talking to girls……with my poly friends..hehe…Hell of a fun. Go there almost every week. We will reach there early about 7++ then queue and purchase the tickets..head for dinner..then back to zouk again. The queue used to long so we always go early and get a good spot to dance.

Fast forward to 2007. My cheongster king Ivan ask me to go to Mambo Jumbo at Zouk on Wednesday. For those not in Singapore, Mambo Jumbo night at Zouk is only on Wednesday and the music played is retro dance music such as Belinda Carlisle, Rick Astley to Ace of base. Although I feel abit Uncle, decide to go and see how Mambo Jumbo is..now

Reach there and the queue was so long…like 50 people in front of me for Zouk queue. Queue for about 30minutes before getting in. Same same like last time. Went in..and got nice spot with my drinks..with friends..waited till 11pm then the real mambo jumbo music starts.

then reality stinks in….can’t dance to mambo jumbo music anymore…My favourite now is R & B……so anyway…try to dance and get into the moood………trying..but I can’t….you know another reason why? Because there are so many many people walking around the dance walk looking for friends…what the shit……so for every 1 song, there will be at least someone who will need to squeeze past me. I have to stop dancing for the persons to walk through. This irritate the hell out of me…..and the worse is most of the people are very very rude..and push their way through……yes I know you need to push abit in order to squeeze through BUT….can you be more polite and don’t push push push….somehow..this thing is getting on my nerves..and i don’t experience this rude pushing dance move…when I party overseas..

Enough is enough…all my friends…also didn’t enjoy myself..and I decide to leave at 12.30am as I can’t take it no more…so we all left and went to have supper. Last time for Mambo Jumbo night…..
I decided that Wednesday night will still special now…I will make it a point to sleep early.
