Singnet vs Starhub Internet 1Mbps lowest price package
For 24months contract on 1Mbps Internet speed, Singnet is charging $30.52 and Starhub is price at $26.96. Both price are before GST. The 1Mbps plan are very suitable for home users who only use the internet access to surf websites.
I am trying to cut down on my operating cost (personal monthly expenses) so I am considering to sign up for the above plans.
Another solution for low cost reliable internet is to purchase the HubStation from Starhub. This provides a free 1Mbps internet connection monthly until 31 December 2008. To sign up, you have to purchase the HubStation hardware at a cost of $560 without contract or at $285 with 2 years contract.
The plans that the Internet service providers are really confusing at times. It is pretty different to find out the best deal to suits your needs as somethings there are other charges that applies in the fine print such as installation charges ot activation charges.
So do some homework first before purchasing your internet plans. I am doing so now.
